Complaints procedure
If you have a complaint about your family doctor (practice) and we have not been able to resolve it together, you can submit your complaint to an independent complaints officer.
The law on quality, complaints and disputes (Wkkgz) aims for a better and faster approach to complaints. Patients can contact the complaints officer of the healthcare provider free of charge. Practice shows that a good conversation between the client and the care provider works best. The complaints officer can initiate such a conversation at an early stage. Does a problem persist? Then the patient can easily go to an independent dispute organization. That organization will make a decision that both parties must abide by.
Stichting Klachten en Geschillen Eerstelijnszorg (SKGE) facilitates a network of independent complaint officers who can mediate on your behalf. In addition, the Disputes bodies GP Care and Public Pharmacies of SKGE are recognized.
